Book: Notes On Love
I am excited to announce that in July 2021 my first book, Notes On Love: Being Single and Dating in a Marriage Obsessed Church will hit the bookshops.
Being single and dating in the church is a minefield. If you’re not trying to protect yourself from rejection by someone a few pews over, you’re dodging well-meaning advice from people about various hearts you should be guarding. When Christians have the ultimate handbook for life in the Bible and the ultimate example of love in God, how do we manage to make such a mess of it?
Notes on Love embraces all aspects the single experience; the hilarity, messiness, and despondency that are often present in equal measure. Far from being a “how to” guide, this is an invitation to laugh, cry and seethe at church culture, the swipe-right phenomenon and some rather unfortunate dating anecdotes.
You can pre-order the book here: Pre-order Notes On Love
You can read the full acquisition announcement from publisher SPCK here: SPCK acquires Notes On Love

Journalism
I don’t spend every hour of the day working on addiction projects. I’ve also written some really fun and light hearted pieces.
